Media Technology

The New Palace Campus at the University of Potsdam became a renewal of its entire media technology in the listed Audimax, two foyers and three seminar rooms were designed. All rooms are networked with a fiber optic infrastructure so that AV content can be exchanged live and events can be held together in several rooms. A large control room is available for the Audimax. Besides the central technology, three workstations for lighting, sound and video direction were all set up here. In addition to the sound system, the IP-based video transmission, the high-resolution cameras with 12G SDI interfaces, the image display with a display wall (4×4 55 inches) and the room lighting with RGBW LED special lights running around a ledge and the scenic lighting of the stage were also renewed in the Audimax.
